Groups

Management is the top of the line in the Order. These individuals are in charge of overseeing the entire operation. They are in charge of taking care of the wayward souls that turn their backs on the Order. They are Judge, Jury, and Executioner.

Assassins are the ones that are sent out when the Hunters fail repeatedly. They are also sent out to kill wayward individuals of the order. Assassins are able to pick and choose who they hunt down and kill, via specialized contracts. However, if they fail to carry out their orders, they may find themselves at the end of a blade.

Hunters are the boots on the ground. Where Assassins rely on cunning and finesse, Hunters have a tendency to be all brute strength and raw force. Hunters are usually given their orders, but unlike assassins, they are not entirely required to carry them out. If they think a job is better suited for someone else, they can pawn it off.

The Operators are the ones behind the scenes. They are the ones that go through the hundreds of thousands of names each day and sort them to their proper priority lists. They contact both the Hunters and the Assassins about new missions and keep everything running smoothly.

The staff of the Augustine Hotel are specialized individuals that work with the different ranks of the Order. They make sure that the Hotel remains a very inconspicuous front for the Order, and take care of everything that needs to be taken care of while the guests are in.

The cleaners are the ones you call when there is a mess you have to take care of. In most cases, they work for the Hunters and occasionally the Hotel staff, clearing bodies and cleaning crime scenes. On a very very rare occasion, an Assassin may contact them for help, but in most cases, Assassins clean up their own messes.

The world could not run if not for the targets. The Prey, as they are called, are the ones that are on the run from the Order. They are the names on the lists, they are the hunted, they are the lawbreakers. If you are Prey, you best hope that you are very well hidden.

It is quite possible to not fit into any of the above listed groups. If you wish, you can just choose a race, and be integrated into the groups later if you see fit to do so. People can change groups rather regularly through RP and through the shops. It is possible to go from being a nothing group, to being Prey, or even a Hunter, or a Cleaner, or Hotel Staff, or possibly even an Operator.
